About
In Japan golf clubs are not marked up to fill the pockets of the giant golf retailers and banged up old used clubs aren't sold at near new prices. Kurabu source new and premium pre-owned golf clubs at fair prices so the best golf clubs are available to all Australians.
We don't run a showroom. We source the clubs you want, and deliver them.
Australian golf retail operates on margins that assume you won't check another market. The major Australian golf chain stores price against each other, not against what the same club costs internationally. Japan's new and pre-owned golf market offers better value on almost every major brand. Pre-owned clubs are kept in an immaculate condition because of how Japanese golfers treat their equipment. New clubs are cheaper because the specialist retail market there is fiercely competitive.
Kurabu brings both options to Australian golfers. We're golfers ourselves, based on the edge of the famous Sandbelt region — home to some of the world's finest courses. We only source clubs we'd like to put in our own bags. We've built the sourcing relationships, the market intelligence, and the import process. The honest truth is not every club will be cheaper through us. When it isn't, we'll tell you. But when it is, you will be amazed at the savings.
Our name comes from the Japanese phonetic transliteration of the English word "club" — クラブ, ku-ra-bu. A nod to where we source from, and to what we source.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know the condition is what you say?
We source from Japan's professional retailers with a published grading standard. Grades are assessed by trained staff against objective criteria, not a seller's description. We also describe conservatively — if there's any ambiguity, we grade down.
What if it's not what was described?
We stand behind every listing. If the club arrives in materially worse condition than described, we manage the return and source a replacement at no additional cost. Please refer to our returns policy for more information.
Do I pay GST on imports?
No. We pay all customs and duties so the price you see or the price we quote you is the price you pay. No added charges - unlike those eBay or foreign listings.
How long does delivery take?
Typically 2-4 working days for clubs in stock in Australia. Typically 10–18 business days for custom orders from Japan — including 2–3 days to acquire, 2–3 days processing, and 7–12 days in transit. Tracking sent the day it ships.
Can you find left-handed clubs?
Yes — Japan has solid supply of left-handed clubs in popular models. Lead times may be slightly longer and some configurations aren't available. Email us your request.
Can you source Japanese-market exclusives?
Yes. Honma TW, Miura, PRGR, XXIO premium, Yamaha, Onoff, Fourteen — models never released in Australian retail, often built to higher specifications. Japan is the spiritual home of the forged golf club.
What if the club I want isn't available?
We search Japan's entire pre-owned network — 1,000,000+ clubs. If a club exists pre-owned in Japan, we'll find it. If not at the grade you want, we'll tell you honestly and suggest genuine alternatives. If you want a new club at a better price, we will try to find it.
Can you source brand new clubs?
Yes — often where the biggest savings are. Japan's specialist golf retail market is highly competitive, driving new club prices below Australian retail.
